Deepika Padukone’s Nostalgia on Teacher’s Day

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Deepika Padukone posted on Twitter, saying,
‘The greatest student is only a reflection of the teacher's wisdom...Happy Teacher's Day’.
The tweet went on to receive over 490 retweets and 250 favorites. She also became one of the trending topics on Twitter, just minutes later. This turned out to be one of the best tweets receiving maximum focus by fans. This shows that fans don’t adore her just for her beauty but also for her down to earth qualities as a human being.

Deepika Padukone gets extremely nostalgic as she was reminiscing about her school and college days. She finished her schooling from Bangalore and her academic life left a massive impact on her. Before making a mark for herself in Bollywood, Deepika lived a very simple and humble life. Even after all the success, Deepika has stood by her values and principles. Her principles have helped her grow and have helped her earn the name and respect.

Daughter of former World badminton Champion Prakash Padukone, Deepika herself was a state level badminton player. Deepika was born in Denmark as her father was training in the sport there. Her family moved to Bangalore, India, when she was eleven months old. Padukone is of Mangalorean origin, and her mother tongue is Konkani.

She spent her early days in Bangalore with her family before being a successful model and making it big in Bollywood. Even after earning all the success, Deepika has been extremely grounded and sincere to her work. Her career graph has just moved upwards ever since her debut in Om Shanti Om in 2007.

On Teacher’s Day, Deepika was incidentally spotted having a candid conversation with one of her friends about her parents. She also mentioned that her parents were the first teachers in her life and their principles taught her valuable life lessons. She went on to talk about several people who made an impression on her and left an indelible mark on her life. It’s wonderful to know that Deepika has not let the glitz and glamour affect to the individual she is. She is often mentions about her growing up years and how she misses being in Bangalore.

It was great to see a celebrity going back to her roots and thanking all those people who made a difference to her life. With her attitude towards her life and work, the sizzling diva has a long way to go.
